Spotlight on Kristina Cook, Customer Happiness Manager

Krissy joined the IL family in July of 2017 as a Customer Champion. She was promoted to Customer Happiness Manager in October of the same year.

As Customer Happiness Manager, Krissy is in charge of writing all of that awesome information users receive for the Quarterly newsletters. She also handle most of the Social Media. You’ll also catch her many days responding to customer tickets or chats. Other days, she uses customer insights she’s gathered to give feedback on new features or improvements and to create new suggestions.

Krissy’s Official InventoryLab Bio:

“I am a Spartan (Go Green!) from the Motor City (Detroit, MI) where I worked for Amazon before joining the InventoryLab team! I live for reading and writing, I love to cook and bake, and I’m an avid gamer and anime watcher. Regardless of my hobbies I spend a greater majority of my time watching Disney movies and singing princess songs with my daughter.”

5 Questions For Krissy

1.)  What exactly do you do at InventoryLab?

I’m the Customer Happiness Manager for InventoryLab. I manage our awesome support team of 4 other Customer Champions, and I like to think that I make customers happy.

2.)  What was the last thing that made you laugh out loud?

The last thing and one of the things that will ALWAYS have me crying laughing is the Key & Peele – Substitute Teacher video on YouTube!

3.)  How do you unwind and relax after a long day?

I had to learn that self care is so important, even when working from home, so I have a few go-tos that help me unwind and relax:

-Baking Chocolate Chip Cookies – I have a perfected recipe (feel free to ask me for it), and just the actions of chopping chocolate, listening to the soft hum of my stand mixer, and scooping dough onto a pan relaxes me. The smell of fresh cookies puts me in a trance, and it’s always fun baking (and tasting) cookies with my daughter.

-Applying A Face Mask – My favorites include Cupcake by Lush (keep it in the refrigerator for the best feeling), Que Bella Toning Blueberry, and Soo’Ae Charcoal Clay Bubble Mask. The last one just makes me laugh – it’s an oxygen bubbling mask that feels so weird on your face!

-Reading – This is either alone (currently reading The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken) or with my little one (we love Dragons Love Tacos, Where the Wild Things Are, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

-Writing – I write stories, make lists, plan extravagant journeys, and just journal period.

-Playing Video Games – I play all games, but if I want to relax, I’ll play story-heavy games with nice music, crafting/farming/creative games, or puzzle games.

4.)  What is a skill you would like to learn?

I would love to learn how to knit or paint well.

5.)  What’s the most recent show you’ve binge watched?

I recently flipped between binge watching a show called The Bold Type and an anime called Fruits Basket.

We think we have a pretty great staff here at InventoryLab, and we’d love for you to see some of the faces and personalities behind the scenes. To that end, we’ve created our IL Staff Spotlight Series. Each post in the series will include five questions and answers about the employee so that you can get to know them a little better. We’ll include a photo, each employee’s official IL bio, and information on some of the things they’ve created and achieved in their time here. Maybe the rest of us at IL will even find out some things we didn’t know before about our teammates!
